Founder & CEO, Attorney at Law
Since Frank grew up in a funeral home, his funeral service career spans nearly 60 years starting with washing cars and writing mass and memorial cards. After attending Wharton for a few years, he graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1973. When he made his decision to further his education, he graduated from Edgecliff College (now a part of Xavier University), as the first graduate with a B.S. in Mortuary Science once CCMS and Edgecliff formed an alliance.
In 1983, he graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. He served four and one half years on active duty as an Air Force JAG Officer and two and one half years in the Ohio National Guard. In addition to owning his own consulting business and his law practice, Frank is also the Chairman of the Board at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
Frank and his wife, Liz, were and still are high school sweethearts nearing their 48th anniversary. They have three children – Frank, a superintendent in the construction field, is married to Ann, who has the double-pleasure of working for Frank and being his daughter-in-law; Stephanie, a stay-at-home mom, and her husband Roho live in Illinois; Kurt and his wife, April. Kurt has built a successful career in the funeral industry specializing in preneed. Each of Frank and Liz’s children have blessed them with two grandchildren, and they will soon be great grandparents. Frank and Liz love to travel and spoil their grandchildren.

If you’re a client, vendor, or employee of R&A, – or have been since the company began in 1993 – you’ve most definitely come in contact with Sherry Dirr. After receiving her Associate degree in Computer Science and working in that field for eight years, she decided to stay at home to raise her family. A phone call from a high school friend (Frank Rosenacker) brought her back into the workforce.
From payroll manager to de facto in-house technology guru, handling all accounting functions for Rosenacker & Associates, Ltd. and Frank B. Rosenacker Co., LPA to overseeing day-to-day as office manager, Sherry has been with the company since the beginning, and has loved witnessing the hard work and dedication leading to its growth through the years. Though many things have changed during her tenure, one thing certainly has not: the firm’s commitment to people. – both clients and employees – and she couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it.
In her spare time, Sherry enjoys spending time with her husband, Jerry, their two daughters and sons-in-law, and spoiling her six – very active! – grandchildren. When not at the office, you’ll likely find her on the golf course with friends and family, or competing in leagues at the club, hitting enough good shots to keep her coming back for more!
Executive Administrative Assistant
Sally Schmidlin joined Rosenacker & Associates almost twenty six years ago. She is Frank Rosenacker’s direct assistant and mostly just “answers the phones”.
Sally has been married forty one years to her high school sweetheart, Mark. Together, they have three children and she loves being a Nana to their seven grandchildren. On her off days, she enjoys golfing, traveling and boating.
Jenny Tapke joined Rosenacker and Associates in April of 2015. Jenny currently assists Sue Gilkey with Estate Planning and Probate as well as answering phones, greeting clients and other various administrative duties. She is also a licensed Notary Public.
Jenny will be attending Cincinnati State in the fall of 2019 pursuing an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. She is married to her husband, Kevin, and they have two boys. Jacob attends the University of Tennessee (Go Vols…Rocky Top!) and their other son, Kyle, is in high school.
